Sofia Scheuerman, LMT
My path to bodywork began through birth — the sacred gateway of life. I’ve walked beside birthing families since 2016, first as a doula and now as a midwife-in-training. Over time, my hands have become quiet listeners, attuned to the language of the nervous system, the fascia, and the deep stories our bodies carry.
I am a licensed massage therapist in Austin TX, trained in Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, Infant and Toddler Craniosacral, Aquacranial Therapy, Prenatal and Perinatal Massage, and Leslie Stager’s prenatal bodywork. I’ve studied with the Pacific School of Awareness and Bodywork, and draw on tools from Internal Family Systems, Reiki, and Spinning Babies. My work is gentle, intuitive, and trauma-informed — rooted in trust, in stillness, and in the body’s innate wisdom. Whether on the table or in the birth room, I support people to return to themselves through breath, movement, and grounded presence.

With over 100 births attended across homes, hospitals, and birth centers, I’ve witnessed how essential touch is in this great transformation. My care weaves clinical knowledge with softness — offering sessions that support nervous system regulation, pelvic balance, and integration throughout the childbearing year and beyond. Outside of
massage and birth, you’ll find me dancing, surfing, or adventuring in nature.
