History Taking: detailed information about your baby’s feeding history, including breastfeeding patterns, bottle-feeding attempts, and any previous issues or concerns

Medical Background: any relevant medical history for both the baby and the mother to identify potential underlying causes
Observation and Analysis

Feeding Observation: The consultant will observe a feeding session to understand the baby’s behavior and technique when offered a bottle. This helps in identifying specific issues such as latch problems, nipple confusion, or oral motor difficulties

Bottle and Nipple Assessment: They will evaluate the type of bottle and nipple being used to ensure they are appropriate for your baby’s age and feeding style
