Is this for you?

Breastfeeding is natural. That doesn't mean it comes naturally.
Maybe you're pregnant and wondering what those first hours will really be like. Maybe your baby is already here, and you're asking yourself at 2 a.m., "Is she getting enough? Is this supposed to hurt? Is this normal?" You're not doing anything wrong. Most moms were never shown what to expect, and the advice from the internet, the hospital and your family doesn't always match. Nurturing Beginnings gives you clear, evidence-based answers from a lactation professional, in short videos you can watch from your couch. So you can stop guessing and start trusting yourself and your baby.
This course is for you if:

By the end of Nurturing Beginnings, you'll know how to:

Understand how your milk changes in the first 2 weeks and why every drop of colostrum matters
Make the most of the golden hours with skin-to-skin after birth
Recognize a good latch, and what to do when it doesn't feel right
Use at least two comfortable breastfeeding positions
Read your baby's hunger cues and signs that they're satisfied
Know, day by day, whether your baby is getting enough
Spot common challenges early (sore nipples, low supply, oversupply, tongue tie) and know your next step
Choose a breast pump, know when to start pumping and store your milk safely

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this course for me if I'm still pregnant?
Yes! Many moms take it in the third trimester so they feel ready before baby arrives.
My baby is already here. Is it too late?
Not at all. Start with "The first 2 weeks" and "Is my baby getting enough?" and come back to the rest later.
How long do I have access?
90 days. Watch as many times as you need.
Can my partner watch too?
Please do! Partners who understand breastfeeding make a big difference.
What if I'm having a problem right now?
The course helps you recognize what's normal and what isn't. If you're in pain or worried, book a one-on-one visit or call your pediatrician. Don't wait for a video.
What comes after this course?
When you're ready for support beyond feeding (recovery, emotions, sleep and more), the full From Nesting to Nurturing program inside the Joyful Motherhood Collective picks up where this course leaves off.
